Who Is Rachard?
In a time where most artists are focused on visibility, Rachard represents something far more grounded. Emerging from Bossier City, Louisiana, his artistry is rooted in reflection, emotion, growth, and human connection.

- Poetry Foundation
- His mother purchased books for him as he chose Hiphop
- He loves his city and community
Before the music, there was poetry. Introduced to creative expression by his mother at an early age, Rachard’s relationship with art began as a personal pursuit long before it became public. That foundation continues to shape the way he approaches music today, not simply as entertainment, but as a form of honesty and self-understanding.

Like many creators, his journey has not been linear. Periods of growth, distance, and personal storms led him into a hiatus where life itself became the teacher. But rather than disconnecting him from creativity, those moments deepened his perspective. His return to music feels less like a comeback and more like a reconnection with purpose.
One of the most important aspects of Rachard’s story is his commitment to community. During our conversation, he spoke openly about the cultural and racial separation that has long existed in Shreveport. Instead of reinforcing those divisions, he intentionally chose to work alongside an all-white band as a way of bringing different people together through music. Not for optics, but for genuine unity. In a divided climate where people often stay within their own spaces, that decision says a lot about the kind of artist and person he is.
Rachard carries the spirit of Bossier City in an authentic way. There is a grounded quality to him that reflects the environment he comes from: Southern, reflective, creative, and resilient. While many are only now becoming familiar with his name, those around him have long understood his presence within the local creative scene.
Now entering a new chapter, Rachard is stepping back into the world with a clearer understanding of himself, his purpose, and the role art can play in connecting people.
